Five Months!

23 weeks!

Trip to Watertown, NY

Ben and I went to visit my sister, Becky (aka Sisis), a few weeks back. We had a great time! It was so fun to get to spend time with her. Her husband is currently serving in Iraq so I was glad we could travel up to New York and break up her time alone. Our camera is broken, but we were able to get a few pictures on her camera.

Here we are freezing to death, trying to get a picture at Alexandria Bay. We were a little late for a sunset picture. Every time I've visited Sisis we eat breakfast at the Tin Pan Galley in Sackett's Harbor. It is so delicous! I usually get the stuffed french toast...it's to die for. Here's my sister feeling sick from cleaning her plate.Ben could not decide what to get. He eventually settled for this omelet type thing and hashbrowned potatoes with a "side" of a buttermilk pancake. Little did he know the pancake was the size of a dinner plate! It was very funny. Needless to say, we had lots of leftovers!

Four months!

18 weeks and going strong! I'm feeling great these days. I'm not nearly as tired and rarely nauseous unless I don't eat. I've been feeling the baby move the last couple weeks. I thought it was in my head at first, but now there is no doubt what those little flutters are. I think that is my favorite part of pregnancy so far. It makes it seem a lot more real.

Ben and I are headed to Watertown, NY today to visit my sister, Becky. Our times together are few and far between so I'm really excited to see her. I will post pictures when we return. Hopefully we'll see some snow!

Happy Anniversary, Ben!

Today is our 3rd anniversary! I remember October 16, 2004 very vividly. I was not nervous at all, I could just hardly wait to see Ben when I walked down the aisle. That's how I feel today also! Ben is in the Ukraine on a mission trip right now and I cannot wait for him to return on Sunday! Honey, thanks for three amazing years! You are my best friend in the world. There isn't anything I'd rather do than spend time with you. Nothing is as fun without you! I love you!

Three months!

I made it through the first trimester! It seems to have gone so fast...most days. I'm looking foward to the "burst of energy" I'll supposedly have during this second trimester. Ben and I are just so thankful for this baby. At our last doctor's appointment we got to hear the heart beat and that was so neat! It's really fun to be able to see that I'm pregnant now!

Two months!

Here I am at almost 10 weeks. Technically it is a little past the 2 month mark, but you get the idea. A certain friend says she can see a little baby belly, but I am certain it is due to my intake of large amounts of food! If you look closely you can see fatigue setting in on my face. No matter how much sleep I get, I am still so tired! Naps are most definitely a part of my daily routine these days!
