This is what we've been doing between trips to the hospital to visit Jacob and Caleb:

Yep, that's right! It's only March and we are hanging out poolside. The weather is so nice here and I feel like we are on vacation. However, now that we are back from the pool and Braden is having his nap, I am anxiously waiting my turn to go back and visit with Becky, Andy and the boys! Ben has not even seen them yet! Hopefully I will have more pictures tonight.

Birthday Party #1

While in Nashville a couple weeks ago we had Braden a family birthday party. It was a few weeks early but it made more sense than asking Ben's whole family to come to Knoxville. It was so much fun and it made me excited that we get to do it again in a couple more weeks. Braden loved his cake! I seriously almost cried when I realized we were already throwing his first birthday party. But then I remembered that as much as I loved him when he was very tiny, I love him even more now and he brings me so much joy just in each new phase. He is just so funny. These pictures don't do the party justice, but here they are.

We finally got Braden to wear his birthday hat for a couple minutes. He wasn't too sure about it.

Sweet Abbey. She is just 7.5 weeks younger than Braden. I hope they grow up to be good buddies!

Wild Ride

My parents were in town this past weekend and we took Braden shopping at Toys R Us for the first time. It was so much fun. He loved looking at all the toys and throwing balls out of the cart. Before we left we let him ride one of those $0.50 rides by the door. Here is his reaction.

Photobooth

Ben and I have a tradition of taking a picture in a photobooth at the mall every year.  It was fun adding Braden to it this year.  I'm not sure what he thought of it.  It seemed to take the pictures super fast before I could think of how to pose.  Enjoy!
