While in Nashville a couple weeks ago we had Braden a family birthday party. It was a few weeks early but it made more sense than asking Ben's whole family to come to Knoxville. It was so much fun and it made me excited that we get to do it again in a couple more weeks. Braden loved his cake! I seriously almost cried when I realized we were already throwing his first birthday party. But then I remembered that as much as I loved him when he was very tiny, I love him even more now and he brings me so much joy just in each new phase. He is just so funny. These pictures don't do the party justice, but here they are.
He has no idea what's about to happen to him.
Hmmm...tasty!
Let's move this delightful thing a little closer!
The hands were slowing him down.

Just can't quite eat it fast enough.

Hooray for birthdays!

I love how he opens his mouth about 6 inches away from his food.

He barely put a dent in this huge thing.
One more face dive.

Slowing down a bit.
Covered in sugary goodness.
All the cousins. Aren't they cute?

Our sweet little family!

We finally got Braden to wear his birthday hat for a couple minutes. He wasn't too sure about it.

Tearing open his gifts.

The four youngest cousins trying out the new wagon. I think Braden has ridden in this every days since he got it. He loves anything he can do outside!

Sweet Abbey. She is just 7.5 weeks younger than Braden. I hope they grow up to be good buddies!

The almost one year old!
