Target

I survived my first trip to Target with both kids by myself. No big deal except I couldn't put Kate's carrier and Braden in the shopping cart. So Braden walked...bad idea! However, he did well and we tried to be quick. Only got the essentials: diapers, toilet paper and coffee! Ha ha! Here is Braden with his blue tongue from the sucker I used to bribe him into being good while we were there! :) Oh yea, I did buy him this hat too.

Retropost: One Month Ago

I forgot I never posted these few pictures leading up to Kathryn's arrival. It all happened so fast that I'm surprised we even took any pictures. We should have been heading to the hospital instead of taking these. But luckily we made it to the hospital in plenty of time and all was well!

This was 6:00pm(ish) and Allyson had come to pick up Braden so we could head to the hospital.

Aquarium

On my birthday we went to Gatlinburg and went to the Aquarium. It was so much fun! I felt like such an adult when I realized I was having such a good time because my kid was having such a good time! I want to go back again soon.

Finally using our sit and stand stroller. Braden loved it. He would jump out any time there something he wanted to see. It was really cute. I think we will like this stroller.

Lately

Here are some pictures from our last couple of weeks. They are in reverse order but I'm sure you don't care! Kate is three weeks old tomorrow! Things are going great here and having two kids just seems normal. I simply cannot imagine my life without "Baby Kate!"

Being a big brother is hard work! Sometimes you just crash in the middle of the floor!

Sometimes we hide Braden's blanket, horse and paci in Kate's bed. Guess we need to find a new spot! Ben found him up here one afternoon.

Since I spend a lot of time taking care of Kate, Braden has gotten pretty creative with how he entertains himself. This day he dumped out the toy basket and balanced them all in her bouncy seat. It made me laugh!

Mr. Fix It

This is how Ben spends his evenings now! He works hard all day and then comes home and works even harder. What a sweet Daddy!

Belly bump! I don't think poor Gavin knew what was happening to him. At the end of my pregnancy Braden loved standing on the bed or couch and "bumping" my belly with his. I guess he was missing those times!

The Big Brother

Braden came to meet his little sister yesterday. He was really sweet with her and especially liked her toes! It was fun having both my children together. I'm really excited to get home and see what this new family dynamic will be like.
